Montpelier Plantation Inn And Beach Club Is Positioned On A 60 Acre Estate Of Which 10 Acres Are Landscaped Approximately 700 Feet Above Sea Level On The Slopes Of Mt. Nevis. The Plantation Dating From The Early1700s Was Previously A Sugar Estate. In 1787 It Hosted The Wedding Of Horatio Nelson Later Admiral Lord Nelson And Fanny Nisbet. In 1963 The Current Owners Acquired The Estate And Out Of The Ruins Converted It To A Plantation Inn. The Island Nevis In The Leeward Islands Of The West Indies Is Less Than 2 Miles South east Of Its Sister Island St Kitts. It Is Dominated By A 3232 Ft Extinct Volcanic Peak With Lush Slopes Falling To Unspoilt Beaches.
